Mcleod Gang

Mcleod Gang is the city where the Tibetan Goberment in Exile and its head the Dalai Lama lives. Tibetan refugies were shocked with the chinese retaliation over Tibetan living in Tibet. I had the opportunity to meet a crew of filmakers filming a documentary about the strategy of extintion of Tibetan culture in Tibet. Although Dalai Lama keeps a non-violent middle way principle, new generations are considering more radical ways of fighting against Tibetan culture extintion.
I recomend the documentary http://www.filmyeti.com/ for those who want to get a complete new view of what is going on there.

Gosaikunda lakes (Lantang)

After he Annapurna trek I was resting in Pokara and Katmandu. Although the mosoons had started in Nepal I decided to do another trek to the valley of Lantang near the border with Tibet. The main purpose of the trek was to trek on my own so I could practice buddhist meditation in pure nature. I went to the sacred lakes of Gosaikunda at 4300 m high, I reached Surya lake at 4.800 m and finally surya peak at 5.100 m. Probably the highest I will ever be. The lakes were impresive and meditation was the deepest I have ever experience. Incredible place Langtan!!

The Himalayan Mountain Range is amazing. No words to describe it just check the photographs. The highest I have ever been 4300 meters sourrounded by peaks more than 8.000 meters high.

Varanasi

Varanasi is the holiest city in India. It is a Shiva place where people the go for purification of their Karma either washing themselves in the Ganges or burning the bodies of their loved ones of the shre. Those who die in Varanasi get a better Karma in their next life. Varanasi is the city of death, afterlife and eternity.

Kanyacumary

Kanyacumary is the sourthern point of India Cape Comorin where the three seas mixed together: Arabic Sea, Bengal sea and Indic Ocean. The sun rises over the Bay of Bengal and sets in the Arabic sea.

Varkala

Varkala is a tourist resort on the top of a clift in Kerala south of India. There I met a very wise Sadu Sitaram in the temple lake. I was meditating with him on the top of the clift, the place where he leaves. I was introduced to Sitaram hindu-shiva meditation with marvellous views to the Arabic sea.
