Port Cochi (Kerala)

After Mysore I left the state of Karnataka and I went to Kerala. My first stop was Fort Cochi. Fost Cochi is the most ancient spice Harbour in India. Even before the arrival of Portuguese around ~1400 ad was an established trading harbour where Chinese trade with the Indians. Marco Polo put his first foot on India here! The multicultural influence is everywhere. Chinese Fishing Nets, Portuguese Churches, Synagogues, mosques, Katakalli theater (similar to chinese theater with male actors only).
Kerala is a communist area and you can see this everywhere. Doctor cost only 1 Rs!! And civilians organize themselves to provide services in the city. Kerala is an example for the north indian states where the economic growth follows American-English model ... more money for high medium classes that have to pay for their services ... Push Up Che Guevara!!!

Hola Marco,
